Become a content queen and learn my secrets to an effective social media content strategy.
Building go-to brands and creating vibing online communities with social media strategies that actually work (and won't take over your life!)
I want to encourage you to think about the long game. Much too often in the business world (and especially the eCommerce space) I see people focusing on quick wins and not thinking strategically about their long term business growth.
It’s like on Instagram when someone buys followers or joins a loop giveaway. It might bring you an influx of followers, but it’s going to damage your engagement in the long run 😟
Something I mentioned in my recent Facebook Ads masterclass was looking at the bigger picture when it comes to Facebook Ads – especially after the IOS changes. A lot of the time when I go into ad accounts to work in them for the first time, I can see businesses running ‘quick win’ campaigns. Things like retargeting their warm audiences (like their website visitors or add to carts) or promoting their website through a traffic campaign to get more traffic.
Of course when you target your warm audiences, you will get an influx of sales. But when those warm audiences run out (because they will, unless you are also bringing in new audiences from another campaign) your sales will stop. You might get new traffic from your traffic campaign, but those people might not purchase from you.
You need to think about the long game. Create funnels and envisage your Facebook Ad campaigns running for years (like my clients have), as these are the types of campaigns that can truly grow your business.
Let’s stop focusing on the quick wins – and focus on long term success 🙌🏼
