Building go-to brands and creating vibing online communities with social media strategies that actually work (and won't take over your life!)
Today I wanted to chat about Facebook Ad funnels. When I see ad accounts that are underperforming, they usually haven’t created any sort of funnel – and that is why they aren’t getting any sales! 😔
So what is a funnel anyway? Picture an upside-down triangle. At the top (the largest part of the triangle) are your cold audiences. These are people who have never heard of your brand before, and haven’t interacted with you. These are new people who are in your target market that you want to attract to your online store.
Down the bottom of the triangle (the smallest part) are your warm audiences. These are people who have interacted with your brand in some way – whether that’s via your website, email list or social media. These people are warm and ready to purchase from you – but they might need a little reminder to push them over the line and make them a paying customer 🙌🏼
When it comes to Facebook ads, you want to be targeting both of these types of audiences. Targeting cold audiences will allow you to reach new people and grow your business. Once these ‘cold’ audiences have clicked on your ad, they will be funnelled down into your warm audiences – and retargeted with ads to make them purchase!
Sounds easy? It is! You just need to set it up in a way that targets these people at every stage of their buyer journey AND make sure that your copy and creatives are highly targeted to that audience.
