Today on the podcast I spoke to Kate from Meant to Biz who is a product launch strategist and an expert when it comes to launching products. Her advice is to work on an eight-week framework prior to your launch date. Why eight weeks? It takes time for people to actually understand whether they need or even want your product. If you leave it too late when approaching your launch date, you’ll find that people are still working out their answers to those questions inside your launch.
Within that eight-week period you should be focusing on building your email list and growing your Instagram audience. There needs to be a point where you tell them when your product is coming but also show them some sneak peeks. You need to align your content around your ideal customer so that you can entice them in and get them wondering “Ooh, what’s that thing?”. 🙌🏼
