Do you want to start working with influencers but aren’t really sure where to start? I’m going to give you one of my biggest tips! 🙌🏼
Whether you are working with micro influencers or larger macro influencers, you need to make sure that their audience is your target market. Before you work with them, ask them for their audience analytics because you want to get your brand in front of the right people. If they say no, they probably have a fake audience and have bought followers so that’s a red flag because they should have nothing to hide!
As an example, if you only ship to Australia you want to make sure the influencer has a large percentage of Australian followers. If their audience is all overseas then they are going to be talking to people who can’t buy from you and you won’t see that return on your investment. Another one is gender. If your product is marketed towards females and the influencer’s audience is mostly men then again, it is not going to be an effective investment.
