So what is the difference? Facebook and Instagram ads appear in your customers’ newsfeeds and interrupt their user experience. This means your ad needs to grab their attention straight away, otherwise you will lose them because they aren’t searching for a product at that time. Meanwhile Google is a search engine, so your potential customer is on there actively looking for an answer to their question or seeking out a product that is like yours.
As an eCommerce business, utilising Google Shopping ads is a no-brainer! The show up on the Shopping tab and really allow you to leverage what’s on your website already. If your website is converting and is optimised well, then Google is going to recognise that and want to drive traffic to your website. Alongside text ads, this is a really great place to start.
